READ Personality Assessments
READ Personality Assessments were created specifically for
Alpstra Training Solutions.
READ Personality Assessments help individuals identify their preferred way of doing things, their natural strengths, and their potential areas for development. By understanding how to READ situations, individuals learn to adapt and respond in the most effective way to a variety of personality types and situations.
This knowledge helps leaders develop inspiring habits that influence their teams, while individual team members learn to communicate more effectively - improving work productivity, teamwork, leadership, sales, and communication.

History
The READ Personality Assessment is based on behavioral theories that have been used for over 90 years. Dr. William Moulton Marston, a psychologist with a Ph.D. from Harvard, first proposed his theories on personalities in his book, "Emotions of Normal People.”
Dr. Marston wanted to help people understand how their own behavior patterns affected their interactions with others and how this knowledge could help improve interpersonal relationships.
Since Dr. Marston’s work was published in 1928, much research has been done to verify the accuracy of his theories and to further the understanding of the four personalities he identified.
